This project involved reverse engineering a motorcycle crankshaft assembly. I modeled and rendered the assembly using Solidworks.
Small engine modeled in Autodesk Inventor. This project involved modeling the various parts from a set of prototype plans. Multiple parts had to be redesigned to ensure proper fit and function.
This ball valve was one of my first large projects using AutoCAD. Everything was drawn by hand in 2D. I was able to use my experience in technical illustration to get the isometric views looking accurate. It is amazing how much easier this would have been using SolidWorks or Inventor, but it was a good experience.
In this project I was given a pencil sketch of a bicycle frame and fork. My task was to translate the dimensions and overall design of the frame into a 3D model using solidworks. The challenge with this one was the bent tubing on the rear seat and chain stays.
